Further Training for Dogs in South Wales
Our “High School” courses are a great follow on class for those who have mastered the basics but want to do a bit more with their dogs.
You will need to have completed an 8 week “Elementary School” course or equivalent. Dogs must be dog and people friendly to join. All High School courses are held in indoor venues.
Beyond The Basics
Our “Beyond the Basics” course expands on the skills your dogs has learnt to date, pushing the boundaries we start distance control, introduce the emergency stop, improve stays and start off lead heeling all while maintaining ongoing socialisation.
How much? £70 for a 4 week course. Max 6 dogs per group.
When? Monday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings
Where? Bedwas, Caerphilly or Rhiwbina/Llanishen, Cardiff
Trick & Treat
In our “Trick and Treat” class have fun teaching your clever canine some amazing tricks: wave, spin left and right, walk backwards, bow and much more all while improving your technique as a trainer.
How much? £70 for a 4 week course. Max 6 dogs per group.
When? Monday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings
Where? Bedwas, Caerphilly or Llanishen/ Rhiwbina, Cardiff
Sniff & Seek
Run in conjunction with international trainer, Simon Mallin in “Sniff & Seek” we uncover the world of the dog’s incredible sense of smell. This is an introductory level detection dog course suitable for those who are completely new to nosework.
How much? £199/ 4 x 1.5 hour sessions with 2 trainers
When? Thursday evenings

Handy Hounds
Have you ever marvelled at the help assistance dogs can provide to their owners? Fancied teaching your own dog to give you a hand around the home, then “Handy Hounds” is for you! Learn how to train your dog to open/shut doors, fetch items, alert to sounds etc.
How much? £70 for a 4 week course. Max 6 dogs per group.
When? Monday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings
Where? Bedwas, Caerphilly or Rhiwbina/Llanishen, Cardiff
DOG DIVAS
Does your dog have star potential? We are looking for dogs of all shapes and sizes to go on our register for canine actors.
This 6-week course will develop the skills needed to work in this challenging environment while at the same time having a lot of fun with your dog. The course culminates in a photo shoot and entry into our portfolio.
Dogs of any age who have completed Elementary School or equivalent are welcome to apply.
How much? £100 for a 6 week course
